Shooting Industry - Crosman hires staff, promotesCrosman has named Bob Hampton as its new vice president of marketing. Hampton is responsible for all aspects of marketing for Crosman, Benjamin and Game Face Paintball brand names.
Hampton comes to Crosman from Bushnell Performance Optics, where he was director of sales for the golf and tennis division. Before Bushnell, he was vice president of the sports division at Bolle, president and general manager of the summer division of Head Sports and held the same position in Canada at Dunlop Slazenger. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Cornell University.
John Mooney, formerly Crosman's manager of marketing, has been named director of product development. Mooney is responsible for supervising the company's development of new products and securing the right venue for their manufacture.
Mooney joined Crosman in 2002 as brand manager. Before Crosman, he worked for Xerox Corp., Sentry Group and Thompson Consumer Electronics. Mooney holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester.
