Deseret News (Salt Lake City) - Paintball player is shot in the leg with real gun

A man playing with paintball guns in the hills above North Salt Lake was shot by an actual gun.

According to a news release from the North Salt Lake Police Department, the man was shot about 11:20 p.m. Thursday while he and four other people were playing a game of paintball tag. The man was lying in grass near a recreational trail that winds through Eaglewood Golf Course and the homes surrounding the course when two people attacked him. One shot him in the leg with a small-caliber gun.

The man was in good condition in LDS Hospital Friday. Police are looking for the assailants, described as a white man and a woman. Anyone with information should contact Sgt. John Herndon at 936- 3880.
