Several Long-Time Customers Renew Contracts and Expand ATX Voice, Data, and Internet Service Packages; Company Also Recognized with "Business of the Year" Honors

ATX Communications, a leading integrated communications provider, today announced the expansion of numerous commercial customer relationships. The contract renewals and additional service agreements span the full spectrum of ATX voice, data, and Internet offerings throughout the regions served by the company.

Among the long-time commercial customers renewing relationships with ATX are the following:

-- Public Financial Management, a leading nationwide financial

and investment advisory firm headquartered in Philadelphia and

a customer of ATX since 1997, last week added high speed (T1)

Internet connectivity for additional Philadelphia and Long

Island offices, as well as dedicated long distance voice

service for its Minneapolis office. PFM also recently signed a

three-year extension with ATX for its Philadelphia,

Harrisburg, and new Malvern, PA locations. These offices will

have a combination of multiple PRI (primary rate interface)

circuits and POTS line services, frame relay, point-to-point

data connections, and local and long distance voice services,

all provided by ATX. ATX is also upgrading PFM's entire frame

relay network, connecting 20 of the company's locations

nationwide.

-- DAL, Inc., a Clifton Heights, PA-based certified collection

agency and ATX customer since 1989, signed a two-year contract

on January 15th through which ATX will continue to provide

Internet and web hosting services.

-- SIMM Associates, Inc., an account receivable management

services company and ATX customer since 2000, re-signed with

ATX during the week of January 19th. Newark, DE-based SIMM

will use the ATX CoreConnect(SM) Preferred Plus solution to

connect the company's main and satellite offices and integrate

voice, data and Internet communications via high bandwidth

(T1) facilities.

-- Hann Financial, an ATX customer since 2000, is an established

provider of automobile finance products with operations in

Jamesburg, NJ and throughout the state. Through its January

22nd, two-year agreement with Hann, ATX will continue to

provide ATX CoreConnect for dedicated local and inbound and

outbound long distance voice, as well as dedicated Internet,

frame relay, and web hosting services.

-- National Paintball Supply of Sewell, NJ, the world's largest

wholesale paintball equipment and accessory supplier,

re-signed with ATX on January 30th. An ATX customer since

1996, National Paintball uses a variety of voice and Internet

services for its headquarters and seven nationwide offices,

including dedicated Internet, managed services, fax

broadcasting, voice over IP, frame relay, and toll-free

services.
